Gucci Mane is famous for many things in his career, but one of the first and foremost of these factors is the fact that he helped pioneer the hip-hop subgenre of trap music alongside co-Atlanta-based rappers, Young Jeezy and T.I.  In line with this, we can say that trap music was born in 2005 when Gucci Mane debuted with the album, Trap House.  After launching a string of critically acclaimed music, Gucci Mane released his first gold-certified album, The State vs. Radric Davis in 2009.

The success just came rolling in after his big win, and now we know this hip-hop artist and record executive as the most influential underground rapper of the decade.
